Pattern Making

But since we’re already talking about garments: Detti will be teaching the Pattern Making I course every second Thursday.
In this foundation course, participants will learn effective and creative methods for garment pattern making. They won’t use sewing machines or cut into fabric; everything will be created from paper and collected into a beautifully organized portfolio. Those who studied pattern drafting/model making in vocational school already have such a portfolio—and guard it carefully for future generations.
The fee for the 3‑session, 18‑hour course is HUF 90,000 (6 credits).
Sessions take place every second Saturday from 11:00 to 17:00.

Dates:
March 7
March 21
April 18

After the basics comes Pattern Making II, where we experiment with modelling simple garments. We stay small‑scale, working with paper and muslin, but participants will learn particularly exciting techniques that align with the Surface Stitching course. Skirts, dresses and shirts will all get a playful twist.
The fee for the 3‑session, 18‑hour course is HUF 90,000 (6 credits).

Dates:
May 2
May 16
May 30

When registering for both courses together, the combined fee is HUF 144,000 instead of 180,000.
