Embroidery

Anna has developed a truly interesting program for those interested in delving deeper into the world of embroidery.

It is both an embroidery circle and an educational course, held weekly by Anna.

Participants can join at the beginning of each month. Registration is possible on a monthly basis, but the full five months can also be taken as a complete course.

After the basics, participants will practice various stitch types: satin stitch, cross stitch, knot stitch, and loop stitch.

At Molyoló, we aim to step away somewhat from traditional Hungarian folk embroidery and open interest towards other technical directions, which often find space among couture collections of fashion houses.

The program includes Blackwork, Redwork, Whitework, drawn thread work, Japanese Sashiko, letter embroidery, and machine free embroidery.

The course will also cover playfulness, the world of knitted regulations, as well as threads and three-dimensional image creation.

Favorites such as bead embroidery, ribbon embroidery, and goldwork are also included in the curriculum.

Participants will build a true "Embroidery Lexicon" in the form of a book.

Sessions are held on Tuesday afternoons from 5 to 8 pm.

The monthly fee for the 4-session, 12-hour course is 60,000 HUF, which includes the necessary tools and materials.

For full course registration, the fee is 240,000 HUF instead of 300,000 HUF.

Monthly course dates:

February 3, 10, 17, 24

March 3, 10, 17, 24

April 7, 14, 21, 28

May 5, 12, 19, 26

June 2, 9, 16, 23
