Molyoló

Hi, I am Detti!
Back in the late 2000s, I realized that we needed a space where fashion designers could freely create, experiment, and learn!
A lot of waiting and trying has finally paid off, because we can finally welcome creative people in a beautiful environment, prepared!
I didn't want to be a fashion designer as a child!
…And yet, the impressions I absorbed while growing up in my grandparents’ house shaped me deeply. My grandmother, like many women of her era, cut patterns, sewed, crocheted, embroidered—and told endless stories while doing so.
For a long time I wanted to study theology, but I felt I was too lively and too curious. I decided to become a pattern maker and fashion designer, because in this industry everything comes together at once: I can be a historian, a philosopher, an artist, a technician, a biologist, a gardener and a craftsperson. I can legally consume literature, music and visual arts as inspiration, and I can be a free creator.
I graduated from the Jelky András Secondary School of Clothing Industry as a pattern maker, then after Óbuda University I completed my fashion design studies at Modart Fashion School.
I have always been driven by technical challenges. Innovation and environmental protection became my main priorities. In the United States I learned a great deal about the fibres used in the apparel industry and their future. When I returned to Hungary, I decided to pass on this knowledge to anyone who cares about their own well‑being. This is why I consider Material Studies and Couture as a way of life to be especially important.
My own brand—BANSKY—also represents these values. I do not create fast‑turnover collections that fit into the fashion calendar. I only make garments when my self‑expression, my needs and the tools around me allow it.
I consciously and firmly avoid objects made of plastic, and Molyoló is prepared for this approach as well.
I think of craftsmanship not as a hobbyist community but as the division responsible for the sparkle of society: the mark of quality on a shoe, the refined line that gives elegance to a garment, the feather on a hat that proclaims beauty, the airy grace of a glove. Without these, everything feels empty, valueless and sad.
In countries where the professional training and elevation of craftsmanship are considered important, people are more attentive to awareness and environmental protection, they are more satisfied, and a new industry emerges—what we call “luxury” today.
At Molyoló, we strive to ensure that the garments made here are of exceptionally high quality, built to last, and express the idea that craftsmanship is art.
I believe that the activities that help us feel good in our own skin deserve time and care—just like our bodies and our souls.
And at Molyoló, we consider quality time essential.
It brings us immense joy and satisfaction that those who visit us return as a community that strengthens our message.
If you’d like, I can refine this into a polished website bio or an “about” section that matches the tone of your brand.
